artificial intelligence: A type of knowledge-based decision-making exhibited by machines or computers. The term also refers to the field of study in which scientists try to create machines or computer software capable of intelligent behavior.

complement: To match or fit with something else to complete it.
computer science: The scientific study of the principles and use of computers. Scientists who work in this field are known as computer scientists.
fraud: To cheat; or the resulting effects of something done by cheating. Or to make a mistake and intentionally cover up the error.
frequency: The number of times some periodic phenomenon occurs within a specified time interval. (In physics) The number of wavelengths that occurs over a particular interval of time.
online: (n.) On the internet. (adj.) A term for what can be found or accessed on the internet.
PhD: (also known as a doctorate) A type of advanced degree offered by universities — typically after five or six years of study — for work that creates new knowledge. People qualify to begin this type of graduate study only after having first completed a college degree (a program that typically takes four years of study).
social media: Digital media that allow people to connect with each other (often anonymously) and to share information. Examples include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
society: An integrated group of people or animals that generally cooperate and support one another for the greater good of them all.
sound wave: A wave that transmits sound. Sound waves have alternating swaths of high and low pressure.
system: A network of parts that together work to achieve some function. For instance, the blood, vessels and heart are primary components of the human body’s circulatory system.
